Private & Public Gallery have announced a new partnership with Green Island Restaurant which will showcase the works of four local artists.
Unique paintings, limited edition prints, I-pad drawings and ceramics, by Jacques Le Breton, Charles Haydn Taylor, Claire Haithwaite and Hazel Wynn, have been installed to enliven the restaurant interior.
All of the works on display have been inspired by Jersey’s South East coastline and in some cases even made with found materials from this natural playground where one of the largest tidal ranges in the world continuously changes the island’s landscape – almost doubling in size twice a day.
Menu card inserts have been created to tell dining guests about the exhibiting artists and a full list of all the works on display with prices and purchase details are available in house.
Patron Alan Winch said: “The French Salon style hang has totally transformed the ambience of the restaurant incorporating colour , texture and vibrancy by some of the best creative talent in Jersey.”
