Two Ogier lawyers have been named ‘Women of the Year’ at the Citywealth Powerwomen Awards 2026, highlighting their achievements and leadership in the Channel Islands and Asia.
Sandie Lyne, partner and co-lead of Ogier’s Dispute Resolution team in Guernsey, won Gold in the ‘Woman of the Year – IFC’ category.
In addition, Grace Gao, counsel based in the firm’s Hong Kong office, was awarded a Gold ‘Woman of the Year – Rising Star IFC’ award.
Sandie has extensive experience in commercial and financial dispute resolution, especially contentious trusts, restructuring, insolvency and regulatory matters. She regularly advises on complex and high value international matters with multi-jurisdictional elements. Sandie is also the jurisdictional diversity, equity and inclusion lead for Guernsey.
Grace uses her expertise to advise high net worth families on matters like international estate and asset protection planning, wills and probate, tax efficient structures for investments and succession planning. She is a Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) and serves as a member of the STEP Wills and Estates Sub Committee and the Mental Health, Elder and Capacity Law Sub Committee in Hong Kong.
