Walkers has delivered a strong set of results across the Channel Islands in the 2026 edition of the Chambers Global.
In Jersey, the firm achieved a Band 1 ranking for Corporate & Finance, moving up from Band 2, alongside uplifts for Investment Funds and Trusts, both now ranked Band 2. Jersey’s Dispute Resolution practice also retained its Band 2 ranking, reinforcing the breadth of the firm’s offering in the jurisdiction.
In Guernsey, Walkers secured a significant uplift with Dispute Resolution moving up to Band 1, while Corporate & Finance (including Investment Funds) consolidated its Band 2 position following last year’s progression. The firm’s Trusts practice also maintained its Band 2 ranking.
Strong individual recognition, with 25 lawyers ranked across both islands, further underlined the depth of expertise within the Channel Islands teams. 12 lawyers achieved improved rankings or were recognised for the first time across Corporate, Funds, Dispute Resolution and Trusts.
Fraser Hern (pictured), Head of the Channel Islands at Walkers, said: “These results reflect the continued progress we are making across both Jersey and Guernsey, with real momentum in core practice areas and continued investment in our people. We recognise that it often takes a while for directory rankings to catch up with what is happening on the ground. We now have Band 1-quality teams across the board in the Channel Islands. I am delighted to see that this is starting to be reflected in both the team and individual rankings. We look forward to other teams in the business receiving similar recognition next year.”
