Island Global Research has published the latest findings from its Brand Reputation Index for Autumn 2025, revealing which organisations are most highly regarded by residents in Guernsey and Jersey.
The research, conducted in October 2025, gathered more than 1,300 responses across the islands and assesses brand reputation across seven dimensions, including trust, perceived value, quality, community contribution and likelihood to recommend.
In Guernsey, Guernsey Post topped the rankings, followed by Waitrose and Marks & Spencer. Jersey’s highest ranked brand was Waitrose, ahead of Marks & Spencer and Jersey Dairy. Other organisations featuring strongly across the two islands included Specsavers, Liberty Bus, R H Gaudion and Ransom’s Garden Centre & Café, with a further group appearing in the top ten alphabetically, including Co op Creakeys, Guernsey Dairy, Le Friquet, Jersey Electricity, Jersey Post, Jersey Water and The Powerhouse.
Island Global Research (IGR) said the results highlighted how organisations build strong reputations in different ways, shaped by their sector, services and strategic priorities. Some brands scored highly for the quality of their products and services, while others were recognised for their positive community impact or environmental focus.
In Guernsey, the research noted the strong performance of Specsavers as a place people would be proud to work for, alongside Guernsey Dairy for community contribution and environmental care.
In Jersey, Waitrose topped the rankings, followed by Marks & Spencer and Jersey Dairy, which performed strongly across measures including quality, trust and being a good place to work. Other organisations such as the Co op and Liberty Bus were recognised for their contribution to island life, while Jersey Water and Jersey Electricity scored highly for environmental commitment.
