Oak has announced the appointment of Lauren Deary and Sophie Walden to its Guernsey office.
Lauren joins with extensive international compliance experience across multiple jurisdictions. As Senior Manager, she will initially focus on the funds business, working closely with teams to support Oak’s regulatory and control frameworks and develop a detailed understanding of the group’s clients and risk profile.
Sophie joins as Manager bringing a strong background across the private banking and fiduciary sectors. Having transitioned into compliance early in her career, she brings valuable experience supporting both international and locally owned firms. Sophie plays a key role within the compliance team and also acts as Nominated Officer in the absence of the MLRO, ensuring continuity of oversight and regulatory responsibility.
