The Department of Infrastructure has announced that Jose Rodriguez-Fernandez, Senior Structural Engineer, and Medo Elhaddad, Project Engineer, of the Highway Services Division have achieved Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
This professional recognition has been awarded to them by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Chartered status is one of the highest professional recognitions in engineering, signifying exceptional technical competence, leadership, and commitment to advancing the profession. This achievement reflects Jose and Medo’s dedication to delivering innovative, safe, and sustainable solutions for the Island’s infrastructure.
“I am incredibly proud of Jose and Medo for their outstanding dedication and achievement in attaining Chartered Engineer status,’ said Minister for Infrastructure Dr Michelle Haywood MHK.
“Their professionalism and expertise enhances our capacity to design and deliver resilient infrastructure across the Isle of Man. They are shining examples of the talent and commitment within our Department.”
