Do you think you’re funny? Do you think you could be?

A brand new charity event, White Collar Comedy Jersey, is launching in the new year and is on the lookout for eight Jersey residents brave enough to take to the stage and raise funds for Jersey Employment Trust.

This light hearted stand up comedy challenge will see complete beginners transformed into confident performers through an eight week development programme covering comedy coaching, confidence building, stage presence and weekly mentor sessions. The journey ends with a live performance of a five to ten minute stand up routine at The Sundown on Wednesday 1 April 2026, alongside fellow participants and a special celebrity comedy headline act, to be announced.

Organiser Kiley Henley said: “This event is all about pushing yourself, having fun and doing something completely different for a brilliant cause. You do not need any comedy experience, just a willingness to give it a go and laugh along the way.”

The deadline for online applications from participants is 7th January 2026, with in person applications closing on 14th January, with training starting on 4th February.
