Stonehage Fleming appoints Head of Family Office Division, Isle of Man

Mark (pictured) moves to the jurisdiction from the firm’s Jersey office, where he was a Partner in the Family Office Division. His appointment took effect on 1st October.

Mark will take responsibility for leading Stonehage Fleming’s Family Office business on the Isle of Man. He assumes the role having spent close to a decade in the firm’s Jersey office serving international Ultra and High Net Worth families as Relationship Manager, rising from Senior Associate in 2016 to Parter in 2024.

Prior to joining Stonehage Fleming in 2016, Mark worked in the financial sector in South Africa and spent a considerable amount of time in other African countries. He started his career as an auditor with Deloitte in South Africa and spent time with them in Luxembourg.

Mark is a Chartered Accountant registered with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and a STEP TEP. He holds an Honours degree in Accounting from the University of Johannesburg and has completed the STEP Advanced Certificate in UK Tax for International Clients. Mark was listed in the eprivateclient top 35 under 35 in 2019 and 2020 and in the Chambers High Net Worth 2025 Guide.
