The Trustees of the Around the Island Walk, sponsored by TMF Group, have announced that this year’s event has raised an incredible £140,000- for local causes.

This achievement brings the total amount raised over the walk’s 34-year history to an outstanding £3,083,000.

This year, 10 charities received funding from the event thanks to the generosity of the walkers and supporters:

  • Autism Jersey
  • Family First
  • Jersey Eating Disorder Support
  • Arthouse Jersey
  • St Andrews Church
  • Tiny Seeds
  • Air Training Corps
  • Les Amis
  • Salvation Army
  • Caring Cooks

The Trustees have recognised the tremendous contributions of the Rotary Club de la Manche, local Scout groups, and Girl Guides, whose continued efforts are essential to help make the event such a success. Special recognition was awarded as Island Walk Heroes to the Jersey Land Rover Club, for their invaluable logistical support on the day, Hayley Dewar & 3rd St Saviour Scouts for leading the iconic breakfast stop for so many years. Finally for the achievements of Marcin Mietelka and Jersey Fire and Rescue who completed the route in full fire fighting equipment.

“Our heartfelt thanks go to every single walker, our sponsors at TMF Group, and the dedicated volunteers who give their time and energy—without them, the Island Walk simply could not happen,” said the Trustees of the Around the Island Walk Trust.
