CBO Projects has announced that Principal Business Analyst David Palzeaird is a finalist for the IIBA UK Business Analyst of the Year Award 2025, sponsored by AssistKD.
This award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to business analysis practice from across the UK, with a particular focus on resilience, analysis and modelling, and collaboration. The eight finalists will be guests at the annual IRM UK Business Analysis Conference Europe in London next month, where the winner will be announced.
As a finalist, David (pictured) has already secured a place in the BA of the Year Hall of Fame, joining a select group of professionals acknowledged for embodying and promoting excellence in business analysis.
“It’s a real honour to be shortlisted alongside such talented business analysts and to represent CBO and the Channel Islands within the Business Analysis industry,” said David.
“My purpose over the past year has been to champion Business Analysis in the Channel Islands, to cultivate the best possible working environment for the Business Analysts I work with at CBO, and to deliver excellent Business Analysis for clients. It is great to have this recognised by being shortlisted.”
“This nomination celebrates David’s Business Analysis expertise, high-quality work, and desire to build a true understanding of Business Analysis across the Channel Islands,” added Ed Mason-Smith, Director of Business Analysis for CBO Projects. “What sets David apart is that he brings our team, clients and community along the Business Analysis journey; he is a true ambassador for the profession. I am proud to work with such a talented and genuine individual, and the whole team at CBO could not be more pleased that David has been shortlisted for BA of the Year.”
