Guernsey Dairy is celebrating the success of Scottish ice cream producer James Rizza & Sons.
James Rizza & Sons’ award-winning Double Dairy Gold Vanilla Ice Cream, made using Guernsey Dairy double cream, has taken top honours at a prestigious UK industry competition.
The company secured first place in the highly competitive ‘Open Ice Cream -Vanilla’ category at the Ice Cream Alliance’s 2025 National Ice Cream Awards, held at The Belfry, in the Midlands.
Guernsey Dairy has been supplying Rizza’s with Guernsey double cream since 2022, exporting three to four batches a year – each containing around 500 litres. The winning vanilla ice cream impressed the judges with its exceptional richness and depth of flavour.
