Katrin Erb, Automation and Product Manager at Standard Bank has been recognised as the winner of the Alteryx Grand Prix competition at a global conference for data analysts and problem-solvers held in London.
The Inspire Europe 2018 Conference pitted Katrin against some of the world’s most senior and experienced analysts, where she took the title to become one of the top users of the software. She also took part in the Alteryx’s ‘Women in Analytics’ Panel at the event, which discussed gender parity, diversity and inclusivity in the world of analytics.
A qualified chartered accountant, Katrin quickly realised she had a passion for the creating efficiencies and problem solving in finance and became a fan of analytics and automation software following her move to Jersey from South Africa.
Katrin said: “I only started using analytics and automation software last year. Winning this award provides me with a great opportunity to network with some of the world’s best data analysts and to play a part in Jersey’s own digital evolution.”
Katrin participates in quarterly Alteryx discussion workshops at Digital Jersey, where she is an active member of the community user group, along with Dan Hare of Continuum.
