Restructured engineering firm leads the way in VR modelling and design

Civil and structural engineering firm T & G Limited has introduced a new management structure following an across-the-board review of its business operations.

The company moved into new St Helier offices at Sommerville House in Phillips Street earlier this year and has appointed three of its senior management team – managing director Johnny Moffett, Lee Saxon and Tom McCarthy – to act as primary client liaison, with the programming and planning of all project work being overseen by operations manager Alex Farrow.

Mr Moffett explained that T & G was now focusing on six key service areas – structural engineering, Imagineering, civil engineering, SER certification, temporary works, and building reports and surveys – and that the appointment of a new client liaison team and operations manager was designed to improve customer communication and aid forward planning.

“This will ensure better control and management of all projects and will allow us to schedule sensible programmes and deliverable deadlines. It also means we are well placed to deal effectively with unforeseen problems and unexpected emergencies,” he added.

As part of its restructuring, T & G has also unveiled a new corporate identity, incorporating six different colours to represent each of its service areas, for use on all signage, stationery and display material, and has developed a new website to highlight the range of its work.

Group chairman Ian Bashforth said they’d wanted to refresh their image to reflect the changes and innovations that had been introduced in recent years to ensure they remained at the forefront of modern construction and design processes.
