Jersey Hospice Care has announced that its new fundraising campaign, Together for Hospice, has raised more than £130,000.
Not only did the Jersey community beat the original target of £100,000 – but Islanders went above and beyond for their Hospice, smashing the Hospices’s bonus target. While the campaign has officially ended, the page is still live and donations continue to come through (though those won’t be doubled).
Cheri Strudwick, Director of Income Generation and Marketing, said: “We’re so grateful to everyone who’s rallied around and supported this campaign and Jersey Hospice Care – from our fantastic Hospice Heroes, who shared the campaign far and wide and put on their own events and challenges to boost fundraising, to the teams behind the scenes who helped make it happen (including our incredible match funders!), and to each individual who generously donated.
“We couldn’t have done it without any of you, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the overwhelming support.”
