Daniel Channing has joined Whitmill, an independent corporate, fund, and private client services provider, as Group Head of Private Client Services.
Daniel’s leadership of Private Client Services will sit intrinsically alongside Whitmill’s corporate and funds capabilities and continue to reinforce the ability to provide a director-led, tailored, and complementary service offering for international clients.
Daniel’s career spans two decades, including extensive international experience with a particular focus on the Middle East. He has specific expertise in supporting families and family offices to navigate diverse market and client landscapes and in implementing and managing effective family succession planning solutions. Daniel joins Whitmill from an international fiduciary services business where he was an Executive Director. Before this, he led the Wealth Planning practice for the LEVANT region of the Middle East for HSBC Private Bank.
Commenting on his appointment, Daniel said: “It is a privilege to be joining a business with 32 years’ history, recognised as one of the leading, truly independent, and privately owned fiduciary businesses. Private Client Services remain strategically important to Whitmill, and it was clear that my resolute passion for serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and single- family offices could not be more complementary or better aligned. I look forward to working alongside an already exceptionally strong senior leadership and private client team.”
Ashley Cox, Managing Director, commented: “Daniel is a fantastic addition to the Whitmill family. He brings additional strength, depth, and experience to our business, enhancing the already high levels of service provided to our clients and their families. We are delighted Daniel has chosen Whitmill, and I, and the rest of the team, very much look forward to working closely with him, and bringing his undoubted expertise to bear for the benefit of our clients.”
