All ready for the October Half Term ‘Get-Away’

October 24, 2018

Over 16,000 air passengers are expected to travel in and out of Jersey Airport over the three days between today and Saturday as the October Half-Term ‘getaway’ begins.

Always one of the most popular and therefore, busiest times of the year for residents travelling, Ports of Jersey is once again reminding passengers, especially those travelling with children, to allow extra time than usual for their journey through the airport terminal. With a high volume of passengers expected over the three days, especially on the more popular air routes such as Gatwick, passengers should be prepared and allow sufficient time for checking in hold luggage and clearing central security. Helpful advice can be found online at http://www.jerseyairport.com/flight/Pages/PreparingForTravel.aspx

Air passengers who require special assistance with their journey must notify their airline at least 48 hours prior to travelling to allow them sufficient time to make arrangements and ensure specific requirements are met.
