On her appointment, Mrs. Barnett commented: “I am delighted to join Cannon Asset Management and Stenham Trustees as a non-executive board member during this exciting time of growth. My approach focuses on thoroughly understanding the businesses, and one of my initial priorities is to spend time with staff, gaining insights from them, and working to support the continued integration of the businesses.
“The finance industry faces an ever changing and challenging landscape, including increasing costs within the regulatory environment, talent resourcing and the provision of banking services. I have already spent much time with the directors and senior employees and they are genuinely passionate about the future, and I’ve been impressed by their commitment to setting high benchmarks and providing excellent client service.”
Richard van Vliet, Group Managing Director for Cannon Asset Management Limited and Stenham Trustees Limited said: “We are very fortunate to have Lisa Barnett as non-executive director. Lisa’ background and experience is an extremely positive addition which will assist in the furtherance of the Stenham Cannon Group consolidating its position, whilst ensuring we continue to offer multi-family office services at the highest level. We have deep roots in the Bailiwick and, through locally based appointments, we want to showcase just how much our islands have to offer on the international stage.”
