Looking for an inspiring way to kickstart your New Year’s resolutions?

The Saffery Rotary Walk, Guernsey’s infamous 39-mile challenge, is the perfect opportunity to embrace fitness, give back to the community, and create unforgettable memories in 2025.

The Walk is more than just a physical challenge, it’s a journey of camaraderie and purpose. Set to take place on Saturday 7th June 2025, this annual walking event invites participants of all fitness levels to push their boundaries, enjoy the great outdoors, and support a range of local charitable initiatives.

Simon Milsted, Walk Chairman shared: “The Saffery Rotary Walk is the ideal New Year’s resolution. Early training for the Walk will encourage physical activity, contribute to your mental wellness, and Walk day itself offers the rewarding feeling of being part of Guernsey’s most iconic community event. Participants can take pride in completing a challenging feat while knowing their efforts directly benefit our local community.”

Simon continued: “Whether you’re a seasoned walker or taking your first steps toward a healthier lifestyle, the Walk offers an exciting way to accomplish your goals.”

Lisa Vizia, Director of Saffery Trust commented: “By signing up for the Saffery Rotary Walk, you are not only setting fitness goals, but you are affording yourself the opportunity to make a real difference to so many worthwhile causes. All proceeds from the event go toward supporting vital charities, ensuring your effort has a lasting impact.”

Lisa shared: “The Walk offers you the chance to forge real connections with other walkers. With a 39-mile route that winds through stunning scenery, this event provides an excellent incentive to stay active and prepare for an exhilarating physical challenge.

“Whether you walk solo, with friends, or as part of a team, the event fosters a sense of unity and achievement that participants cherish long after the finish line.”
