Julius Baer Guernsey has been dipping their toes into creative endeavors, with employees attending quarterly art classes born from a partnership with Art for Guernsey, each run by local artists.
In the sessions so far, eminent artist James Colmer led a masterclass in charcoal, and Sally Ede-Golightly instructed on using oil on linen.
James said: “The workshop was both great fun and a bit messy in the best way possible! I was thrilled to see the team so open to exploring new techniques and adapting to different approaches in their artwork. They really embraced the process and seemed to be enjoying the moment, which for me is at the heart of creating art.
“Even though everyone worked with the same subject matter, each person’s unique personality came through in their final pieces, and I was genuinely impressed with what they produced.”
