Guernsey has won Institutional Asset Manager’s award for Best Offshore Fund Domicile 2024.
Guernsey Finance Chief Executive Rupert Pleasant said he was thrilled that Guernsey has been recognised at this prestigious award ceremony: “Winning this award is a great recognition of Guernsey’s excellent reputation as a jurisdiction for funds.
“Over the past year, total net asset values in Guernsey have remained steady, despite the global rollercoaster of economic headwinds and uncertainty.
“As we move into 2025, we are positive about Guernsey’s tried and tested environment for the asset management and fund administration industries. There are a wide range of fund structures available in Guernsey with different levels of regulatory oversight, offering flexibility, global access and speed to market. The island’s fund sector is supported by a pragmatic and flexible regulatory environment and a breadth and depth of professional expertise, and I am pleased to see this recognised by Institutional Asset Manager.”
The Institutional Asset Manager Awards recognise excellence among service providers within the institutional asset management sector in Europe. With the first awards programme launched in 2021, the awards are based on a nomination survey where industry participants can put forward nominations in a multitude of categories.
These nominations are then collated and reviewed by the Institutional Asset Manager editorial team, and the winners are the companies with the largest numbers of nominations in each category.
Haley Camp, Chair of the Guernsey International Funds Association, said: “Winning the Institutional Asset Manager’s award for Best Offshore Fund Domicile 2024 reinforces Guernsey’s reputation as a leading jurisdiction for fund domiciliation. This recognition highlights our strengths in regulatory excellence, innovative fund structures and our lasting appeal to fund managers.”
