JFA in Partnership with the Nextgen Directors: Role of Directors
Following interest received from the JFA members, we continue to develop on the ‘Role of the Director’ Masterclass series, with another practical session which explores the financial reporting and asset valuation responsibilities of a director.
The session is aimed at recently appointed directors and those aspiring directors, although, we also believe that the session will have content which is useful to those more experienced JFA members.
The subject matter will include:
Part 1 – Case Study Review
We are pleased to be able to partner with Jon Trigg and Nextgen Directors for this Masterclass session and in doing so, we will be looking to make this session interactive.
Attendees will break out into small groups, where they will need to put themselves in the shoes of a director that is going through the quarterly reporting cycle. What consideration should be given to past and future events and their potential impact on valuations and disclosure requirements…let’s discuss!
Part 2 – Valuation 101 with Industry Experts
The JFA have secured two leading industry experts to guide our directors through the valuation process for Private Equity, Private Credit and Real Estate assets.
Part 3 – Industry Expert Panel
A panel of independent directors for client and executive boards of entities based in Jersey will share their experience and guidance on the subjects covered during the session. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and contribute to the panel session.
