Promotions have been made at Bedell Cristin to recognise the firm’s expertise across a number of practice areas in its Jersey and London offices.
Within the financial services team, Richard Le Liard has been promoted to Managing Associate. Richard has a wealth of expertise in financial services regulation, data protection and in establishing and advising investment funds and fund services businesses. This promotion also reflects the growth in the firm’s regulatory practice.
Also in the financial services team, Louise Hassell, Emily Nieuwburg and Laura Hendrick have been promoted to Senior Associates across the Jersey and London offices. The promotion of Guy Westmacott to Partner in the corporate and commercial practice was announced last month.
In the property team, Jeff O’Boyle has been promoted to Head of Property, Jane Needham to Senior Associate and Kerry Fernandes is now a Senior Property Administrator.
Mr O’Boyle joined Bedell Cristin after 12 years at a London-based international law firm and has considerable commercial property experience. Guy Le Sueur, who formerly headed the property team, remains as a consultant to the firm.
In the support teams, Chris Fisher has been promoted to Senior Compliance Officer, providing specialist advice for Bedell Cristin across Jersey and the BVI. Anna Ormsby is now a Senior HR Officer, reflecting the significant experience she has gained within the business.
“The extent of knowledge and experience of our promoted staff members showcases the high level of dedication and expertise we have in our teams,” said managing partner David Cadin.
“Bedell Cristin prides itself on the calibre of its staff, and we place great focus on their development and career progression. These promotions strengthen the firm and are fully deserved.”
