Principal Consultant to take professional services to exciting new heights

CBO is looking for a dynamic, fresh-thinking leader in Jersey, whose specialism in delivering successful technological or business change and ability to develop our wider team, will take our professional services to exciting new heights.

We’re recruiting a Principal Consultant with the qualities, qualifications and experience to lead digital or business transformation engagements for our clients, build on our strong reputation amongst local industry leaders, and be an inspiring team lead.

Key responsibilities:

In this role, you will play a critical role in CBO, working with our directors to lead one of our Service Lines. The key responsibilities are:

  • Delivering successful engagements with clients: both directly using your own expertise and coordinating and quality assuring the work of colleagues.
  • Building and managing relationships with new and current clients.
  • Leading, developing and growing CBO’s team in Jersey.

Requirements:

We are interested in individuals with a specialism in either project and programme management, or in the delivery of data and technology-enabled change.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the business transformation industry, who also has proven management experience. We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships;
  • Experience of overseeing and delivering complex initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process;
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines;
  • A proven track record as a leader, with experience of building and motivating multi-disciplinary teams;
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels;
  • The ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable plans;
  • Strong commercial understanding;
  • Resilience, and the ability to adapt in the face of challenges and change.

Successful candidates will be professional yet personable; someone who can maintain the exceptional standard we’re known for, has the ability to nurture strong relationships with our clients, and who understands the complexities of running a team and can do so with care and efficiency.

This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week).

A full role profile is available on request.
