The first ever Jersey Professional Carers Day 2024 proved to be a great success, bringing together carers, local organisations, and the wider community for a day of celebration and appreciation.
The event saw positive engagement from both the public and businesses, shining a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible dedication of Jersey’s professional carers.
The day included a selection of giveaways for carers, and opportunities for attendees to learn more about the vital role carers play in supporting Jersey’s most vulnerable. Skills Jersey provided support those considering a future in care, while local organisations highlighted the essential services that they provide to those in need. The public showed wonderful support, with many expressing their newfound appreciation for the carers who work tirelessly to improve lives across the island.
