Jersey-based corporate, private client and fund service provider Hawksford has launched a London office following the acquisition of the corporate services business of audit and accountancy specialist S H Landes LLP.
The new London office will service the growing relationship between European and Asian markets and demonstrates Hawksford’s confidence in the City as a global centre for international finance, attracting clients seeking outsourced solutions and asset protection for corporate and private clients.

The deal comes just four months after Hawksford acquired Asian-based corporate services provider People & Projects (P&P). It is the company’s seventh acquisition since the organisation was backed by private equity house Dunedin.
Mr van Leeuwen added: “Hawksford has a global client base, and many of our Asian clients are actively looking for access to the UK. Opening a London office will allow us to extend our service offering to UK-based structures. Our London office will provide additional access for our EMEA client base to access coveted Asian markets.”
Hawksford, which has offices in 12 jurisdictions across Asia and Europe, will provide specialist services from its office in New Oxford Street, London. The acquisition strengthens Hawksford’s service offering, providing expert administration, accounting and reporting, company secretarial and related back office services to private and corporate clients internationally.
The new office will be led by Steven Landes, a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience in international finance. It will provide Hawksford clients and advisers in the UK with convenient access to the company’s services and support.
