Cybersecurity provider, Defence Logic, has announced the appointment of two senior security professionals for its Jersey office.
Sam Newton joins as Head of the Security Operations Centre (SOC). With over 20 years of experience in cybersecurity, Sam has a proven track record in leading and managing SOCs. His expertise spans network infrastructure, cloud security, and threat hunting, making him a valuable addition to the team.
Arthur Mainja (pictured) has been appointed as a Virtual CISO, enhancing Defence Logic’s risk team. Arthur brings over 20 years of experience from Big 4 firms, excelling in cybersecurity and technology risk. He has led teams in IT risk assurance and data analytics across various industries. Arthur holds multiple certifications, including FCIIS, C|CISO, CISSP, CISA, and FCCA. He co-founded the Channel Island Information Security Forum and is passionate about innovative cybersecurity solutions and community impact.
