Ravenscroft’s chief investment officer is relocating to Jersey as part of the investment firm’s commitment to growing its presence in the island.
Kevin Boscher will remain as group CIO but will also take up the role of managing director, Jersey with Haydn Taylor moving to the newly created role of chairman whilst remaining as group head of Advisory.
“The Jersey business has grown significantly under Haydn’s leadership over the last 10 years and the time is now right to add to the senior management team based in the island to help to continue to grow both our presence in the island further and Ravenscroft’s offering. Kevin has an impressive and extensive career working for pan-Channel Island wealth management businesses and so will draw on that knowledge and experience to drive forward the expansion of our Jersey office. This will allow Haydn to focus on managing and developing client relationships as well as our Advisory offering,” said Jon Ravenscroft, chief executive officer at Ravenscroft.
Kevin, who holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Chartered Wealth Manager qualification and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI, will officially start his new role on 1st July.
“The Ravenscroft board is committed to exciting plans for expansion in Jersey and I am looking forward to building on the presence and reputation we have built over the years,” he said.
“Ravenscroft has something unique to offer to investors due to the wide range of services it offers clients backed up by a focus on building strong relationships and delivering high levels of personalised service. We are all excited about what the future holds and looking forward to working with our clients and other stakeholders to continue to grow our business.”
Haydn added: “Kevin and I have been working closely together in recent months ahead of his relocation to ensure a seamless transition. I am looking forward to focusing further on developing new client relationships and our Advisory offering across both Jersey and Guernsey.”
