Saffery Trust will be donating to seven local charities on behalf of the 2024 Client Service Award winners, rewarding their efforts over the last year.
The firm’s Client Service Award initiative recognises team members who have made exceptional contributions to client service on a quarterly basis, with top contributors being recognised at the end of the financial year. Seven individuals this year received a gift voucher, and a £100 to donate to a local charity of their choice, aligned with the firm’s responsible business commitments.
Nominated by their colleagues, the winners demonstrated excellence across various achievements, epitomising the firm’s status as a tier one independent trust company of individually expert, collectively exceptional professionals.
Senior Officer Sally Hunt and Associate Director Tim Le Page were recognised for providing invaluable service during a complex client transaction. People and Culture Officer Caitlin Le Gallez and Assistant Manager Sophie Norman were recognised for their exemplary work on the firm’s first internship program.
Assistant Manager Josephine Champion went above and beyond to assist a client with intricate matters. Associate Director Donna Brehaut, who received the highest number of nominations throughout the year, demonstrated outstanding client service in both her client-facing and business support roles.
Marketing Manager Tasha Symes (pictured) was acknowledged for her pivotal role in the firm’s rebrand, playing an integral role in creating a fresh and dynamic identity, reflecting Saffery Trust’s heritage and its forward-looking vision.
Tasha said: “After a big year playing a key role in the development and implementation of our new brand across all our international offices, I really appreciated being recognised by my colleagues and the wider business. I am proud to have been rewarded for my efforts, and being able to contribute to a charity I am passionate about makes it all the more worthwhile.”
The charities chosen by the Saffery Trust Client Service Award winners were Guernsey Society for Cancer Relief, The Tumaini Fund CI, The Cardiac Action Group, Guernsey Bereavement Service, Macmillan Cancer Support, Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation and the GSPCA.
Saffery Trust Managing Director Nick Batiste said: “At Saffery Trust, we take great pride in fostering opportunities and enabling success for our staff and clients alike. These awards are well-deserved, and the recipients should be proud of their exceptional contributions to the firm and their dedication to delivering client service excellence, which is a cornerstone of our business.
“We continually seek ways to give back to our community. Providing additional opportunities for our staff to support charities close to their hearts is a great way to do this, alongside our existing corporate social responsibility strategy.”
