Your role should be to guide individuals to bring both the problem and the solutions. By doing so, you’re not only developing critical thinking within your teams but also empowering them to be proactive problem-solvers.

Asking for work to be client-ready before it comes to you or asking how client-ready (as a %) is a particular piece of work and suggesting you only want to see it when it is X% ready. This will highlight the gap between what you think is client-ready and the individual’s thoughts.
