Two years on from Channel Insurance Brokers (CIB) becoming part of PIB Group, the team is focusing on the next phase of its development and working on increasing its market share across the Channel Islands.
Senior appointments include Tony De Sousa who becomes Managing Director and is joined on the Board by new appointees Gareth Le Page and Steve Moullin.
Tony brings with him 19 years of experience in the insurance industry. He joined CIB in 2016 as a director, primarily responsible for the personal insurance team. Tony has earned himself a reputation for excellence in customer experience and leadership and is well known in the local insurance market.
Tony says:“We have a tremendous opportunity to grow further, bringing our strong business values and service delivery to match the demands and rightly high expectations of our clients.”
Gareth joined CIB in 2017 as a senior commercial insurance broker, having held previous positions in underwriting, business development and captive insurance. He brings 15 years of experience across a range of disciplines, and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Broker.
Gareth comments:“I am proud have been asked to join the Board and work with the group to accomplish our future objectives. This is an exciting time for the company, and I look forward to working with Tony and Steve as we enhance our offering and grow our brand.
Steve also joined CIB in 2017 having been an insurance broker for over 30 years, with experience of both personal and commercial insurance. He has helped drive the growth and development in the Commercial team, and prides himself on providing an efficient, professional and ethical service to all.
Steve says:“We are in an excellent position to capitalise on the growth opportunities presented by the current market. CIB’s brand, values and proven delivery models are facets I have respected as a competitor over many years and I am excited to be on board and part of the great team that will take these to the next level.”
