Jersey Modern Quilt Group has announced its chosen charity this year to be Jersey Trees for Life.
Every year this team of experienced specialists makes a unique quilt for the sole purpose of charity fundraising. The eye-catching one in picture has already been to the Eisteddfod where its creators once again picked up the Women’s Organization Shield in the Needlework & Textile Art category.
Alex Morel, Jersey Trees for Life’s CEO, said: “We’re grateful to everyone at Jersey Modern Quilt Group for enabling us to benefit from their impressive handiwork this year. We plan to make the quilt a raffle prize at one of our 2024 fundraising events.”
