Kroll, an independent provider of global risk and financial advisory solutions, has appointed two of its team as Directors in the Jersey office.
Sarah Bentley (pictured), who has worked for Kroll since 2014, and Manu Hinojosa, who was recruited in 2016, have each been appointed Director, Regulatory Consulting with effect from this month.
Sarah works with trust and corporate service providers, banking institutions and the funds sector to support them with their regulatory needs, both on a local and global basis. She began her career at Ernst & Young Jersey, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has 15 years’ experience working in the financial services industry. She has extensive experience in leading global regulatory change projects, remediation programmes and corporate governance reviews across a wide range of International Finance Centres. Sarah also regularly assists firms with regulatory internal audit services, skilled person reviews, buyer and vendor regulatory due diligence and regulatory healthchecks.
Manu, who also qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young, specialises in financial crime and regulatory due diligence and has significant experience in multi-jurisdictional transactions in the trust, company and fund administration sector. He also assists local regulated firms with compliance and regulatory matters, including remediation, compliance monitoring and skilled person reviews. Fluent in both Spanish and French, Manu has been a key asset in cross-border transactions.
