An engineer at Resolution IT in Guernsey has passed his second set of exams this year.
Just four months after passing the CompTIA A+ 220-901 exam, Jake de Carteret, Managed Print & Technical Engineer, has passed the 902 exam, meaning he is now fully A+ qualified with CompTIA.
Jake said: “CompTIA is widely regarded as the preferred qualifying credential for technical support and IT operational roles. Completing and passing the course has given me a better understanding of the background processes of a variety of operating systems, as well as broadened my knowledge of troubleshooting tools, networking and security processes. It can be hard, working full-time and studying in your spare time but worth it, both from a personal sense of achievement, as well as for the extra added expertise it gives our clients.”
Olly Duquemin, Joint Managing Director, said: “We remain committed to giving all our staff training and qualification opportunities, allowing them to progress their careers and their professional development. Collectively, our staff have a wide range of IT experience between them and it is only right they are given the chance to enhance that experience with the best IT qualifications.”
