To increase awareness of the Guernsey Kidney Patients Association, the charity’s committee members will be joining Ambrose Netherton for a training session, ahead of his Mount Kilimanjaro climb to raise funds for the charity.
The Guernsey Kidney Patients Association (GKPA) Committee are joining up with Ambrose (pictured) on Saturday 16 March 2024 from Jerbourg steps to Icart and walking the cliff to to assist him with his training for the Mount Kilimanjaro climb . The actual climb will take place from 24th August to 4th September 2024.
The Guernsey Kidney Patients Association is little known Guernsey charity, unless you or someone who has a problem with their kidneys. The charity helps with anyone who has chronic kidney disease on the island and their family member requires assistance with them undertaking treatment in the UK.
Ambrose has a friend who is connected to GKPA and is undertaking the climb to Africa’s highest peak, to help with the awareness of the charity.
