Darren Kelland, Head of Private Client Services at Hawksford, has received recognition in the 2024 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential list, published this month, completing a hat-trick of recent industry accolades.
The annual eprivateclient list is designed to identify and champion talent across the international private client sector and recognise those leaders in the industry in the UK and Crown Dependencies, who are pioneering and driving positive change. It features a range of trust, accounting, legal and other private client professionals.
In addition, Darren (pictured) was also featured in the latest Spear’s ‘Trusts, Structuring & Offshore Index’ and selected as one of the world’s leading industry practitioners in the ‘Who’s Who Legal: Private Client 2023 report’, both published towards the end of last year.
The Spears recognition forms part of the wealth publisher’s regular schedule of Tax and Trust Indices, celebrating the leading practitioners in specific areas of the global private wealth landscape. The Who’s Who Legal report meanwhile, compiled by legal research platform Lexology, identifies the pre-eminent private client lawyers and professionals who rank highly for their outstanding work in advising individuals, families, companies and charities on matters ranging from taxation to trust structuring to asset management.
An experienced guardian when it comes to managing the assets and financial affairs of ultra-high net worth individuals and families, Darren leads the management and growth of Hawksford’s private client services proposition. He has earned a formidable reputation both as a trustee and a director on complex trust structures, family offices and multinational companies through a financial services career spanning some three decades – the last 20 years being spent in senior fiduciary services roles.
