A further two projects have been announced as successful recipients of grants through the first Impact Jersey open programme, operated through Digital Jersey.
In addition to a first wave of recipients announced last month, the panel of independent expert judges have also awarded grants to a second wave of projects, as follows:
- ‘Corporate and Residential Mobility Platform’ by JEV (EVie): This project sees EVie develop an advanced mobility management platform to give businesses, property managers and property developers tools for user onboarding, subscription management, travel gamification, and advanced emissions reporting of its vehicles – ultimately aiming to motivate people to use alternative methods of transport.
- ‘Streamlining Risk & Insurance Management for Jersey’s Fiduciary Services Sector’ by Henry Burton, SPX Limited: This project involves developing and validating a proof of concept for a risk and insurance management platform for Jersey’s fiduciary services sector. The platform would use AI to assess risk level and map this onto a fiduciary risk dashboard, reducing risks and protecting a share of the £1 trillion of client assets which Jersey has responsibility for.
The initial successful recipients announced last month included ‘Drone Emergency Services by Air Rescue Channel Islands Limited; ‘Realtime Sensor IoT Project by Andium Homes, and ‘Jersey’s Journey to Net Zero Carbon Project’ by William Church Consulting.
Commenting on the latest wave of recipients, Digital Jersey CEO Tony Moretta said: “I’m pleased to be able to announce a further two grant recipients as part of the first Impact Jersey open programme. Alongside the projects announced last month, these recipients reflect the diversity of ambition amongst local innovators and underline the significant impact this scheme can have for islanders.”
