Lé Galvaudeûx: Pop-up print workshop
Public Voice: Common Ground have been working with Tim le Breuilly to bring back the joy of discovery and walking in St Helier.
The map can be found online here or in the window at the new Horizon Building (opposite Cineworld). The walk is 3 miles and takes around an hour. All wanderers are encouraged to sketch, write, film or record their experiences and post to Instagram mentioning @publicvoicecommonground and ludditepressci with the hashtag #legalvaudeux. These might include found shopping lists, weeds breaking through the concrete or the things that only they notice.
Public Voice partner Jersey Development Company have loaned Unit 4, Horizon East (opposite Cineworld) for a pop-up gallery and studio. Here there will be an exhibition of some of the lé Galvaûdeux highlights.
The public are invited to a free drop-in print workshop led by Tim le Breuilly and Luddite Press Sat 14 Oct, 10.00am – 2.00pm. The workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities and is a chance to chat about ideas and aspirations for public space and how we want to live together.
