The 2023 Family Law Awards finalists have been announced and Corbett Le Quesne feature in three separate categories.

The categories are: Family Law Firm of the Year South and two categories only introduced this year: Family Law Champion for Lizzie Keogh and Family Law Legal Support of the Year.

Advocate Barbara Corbett said “We are absolutely thrilled that we as a team and Lizzie in particular have been selected as finalists in this year’s Family Law Awards. The Family Law Awards are the specialist awards for our industry and we are the only Jersey lawyers in these categories.”

Family Law Firm of the Year South is the top award available for family law firms in Jersey.

This is not the first time Corbett Le Quesne have been in the running for it either having been finalists twice and winners in 2020. Lizzie Keogh has individually been shortlisted for the Family Law Champion Award. This is a significant achievement which recognises ‘an individual’s outstanding contribution in the family law sphere’. Finally they have been shortlisted for Family Law Legal Support of the Year, an award designed to recognise ‘an outstanding quality of legal service in the family law field.’

Lizzie Keogh commented: “This nomination means so much to me, I feel like running around the office celebrating! I love my job and I put my all into it. I think my biggest contribution is in arranging international family law conferences every year. It is no mean feat to organise these events for hundreds of people several times a year while also being Office Manager but I love it and have it down to a fine art. I am so grateful to be nominated and can’t wait for the awards ceremony in London.”

Nick Le Quesne commented: “I just want to say a huge thanks to Lizzie and the team. It is fantastic that the Family Law Awards have added these categories to celebrate the hard work that goes on behind the scenes to make sure clients are cared for and cases run smoothly. We are up against incredible competition from firms across the UK but we have a fantastic team and we are very proud to be nominated again this year.”

The Award Ceremony will be held in London on Monday 27th November at Park Plaza, Westminster.
