Hamilton Brooke, the marketing agency established in Guernsey 35 years ago, has acquired Betley Whitehorne Image (BWI).
Chris Betley, Piet Whitehorne and BWI staff have moved to Hamilton Brooke’s new offices at St George’s Esplanade.
Efrem Cockett, MD of Hamilton Brooke, commented: “The deal couldn’t be better timed. We moved premises specifically to facilitate our next stage of growth and had started looking for new people to help drive it forward. Bringing BWI on board has accelerated this and I’m delighted to have welcomed a number of experienced, highly-skilled individuals to the team.
“For BWI clients, as well as for Hamilton Brooke’s it is a fantastic development, all are continuing to enjoy the same excellent levels of service and will now also benefit from the opportunities that a bigger business with diverse resources brings. It’s an exciting time for everyone.”
Chris Betley from BWI says of the move: “A key factor in us coming together was the knowledge that our clients will continue to benefit from an agency that works solely in their interest, with no external shareholders, or investors. In marketing, that independence is particularly important. The sentiment is echoed by Piet Whitehorne who adds; “This is already proving to be such a great dynamic, the two agencies have a huge amount in common, but we also have some very different creative perspectives and that is going to bring a whole new dimension to the work and to what we can do for clients.”
There are now 21 staff at the agency, known as Hamilton Brooke (incorporating BWI).
