The winners of the fifth annual Jersey TechAwards are ambassadors of a thriving and increasingly diverse digital sector in Jersey, according to Tony Moretta, CEO of Digital Jersey.
Sponsored by C5 Alliance and organised by Digital Jersey, the winners were presented with their Awards at a gala ceremony at the Royal Jersey Showground last week, hosted by television personality and award-winning comedian Zoe Lyons.
This was the biggest ever Jersey TechAwards event with nearly 500 attendees, demonstrating the growth of the digital sector, the rise in the adoption of technology in non-digital sectors of the economy, the growing importance of digital solutions in all areas of society, and the value added by digital to the Jersey economy.
The event also included a welcome drinks reception sponsored by Lloyds Bank International, as well as live music from international singer Jessica Lloyd Chays and her band.
Featuring eleven categories including a new Innovation Award, the Awards are designed to celebrate the pioneering individuals, innovative businesses and digital champions using technology to accelerate positive change across Jersey. They were judged by a panel chaired by Marbral Advisory chief executive Leonie McCrann.
