Dominic Wall, Assistant Manager at Deloitte in the Isle of Man, has won the Isle of Man newspapers’ 30 under 30 award in the sustainability category, supported by Isle of Man Energy.
Dominic (pictured) has been named among the next generation of the island’s leaders. He plays a key role in his position at Deloitte with a focus on ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) assurance and advisory services assisting entities in making progress in their ESG integration, reporting, and accountability transforming their sustainability objectives into measurable impact.
Since joining Deloitte last year, alongside supporting business engagements, Dominic has been instrumental in launching Deloitte Isle of Man’s own business led ESG network, The Climate Collective.
Alongside his role at Deloitte, Dominic is a volunteer journalist for PlasticBusters, a non-profit environmental organisation with volunteers in over 100 companies working together to reduce plastic pollution. Dominic has interviewed companies that have taken the pledge to support the reduction of plastic pollution and integrate sustainability into their business model.
Nominator and Advisory Lead at Deloitte Isle of Man, Charlotte Vale said: “Dominic is passionate about sustainability and has been a real asset to Deloitte since joining. His work in ESG and sustainability projects has been exceptional, and his ability to understand and analyse complex situations has been key in his success. We’re proud of his achievements and his recognition through this award.”
Dominic added: “I am honoured to be included among the Isle of Man’s top young professionals in the sustainability category. It is incredibly motivating to be recognised for my contributions in this field and it’s something I’m passionate about in everyday life. I look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the years to come.”
Gef 30 under 30 highlights the next generation of the island’s leaders and features 10 categories spanning from entrepreneurship to community impact. The winners will be recognised at an event in May celebrating their accomplishments.
