An experienced and well-respected member of the team at L’Horizon Beach Hotel & Spa has a new role for the New Year.
Tomas Nadassky (pictured) has been promoted to Deputy General Manager at the AA Four Red Star hotel in St Brelade.
Tomas, who was born in Slovakia, joined the hotel in April 2021 as Food and Beverage Manager, overseeing the hotel’s restaurants and bars. He has been a key member of the team since joining the hotel and was promoted to Operations Manager last summer.
In his new role as Deputy General Manager Tomas will be responsible for the operational Heads of Departments. Ensuring that all areas of the hotel work cohesively, he will take an active role in forecasting, budgeting and reporting and will work with the management team on internal and external marketing initiatives.
Simon Miller Regional General Manager, Channel Islands said: “Tomas’ promotion to Deputy General Manager underscores the integral part he has played in elevating our guest experience and re-building our service team after the impact of the global pandemic. His passion for attention to detail and quality shines through and this makes Tomas perfectly qualified to continue to evolve our guest experiences and encourage our team to delight our guests with magical extra touches.”
Commenting on his new role, Tomas said: “I’m thrilled to be promoted to this new role and to be able to assist in leading the amazing team of colleagues at L’Horizon. As we start our preparations for another successful summer season ahead, I look forward to supporting the team in welcoming back our many regular guests as well as greeting our first time visitors with our natural and engaging service style, so they take home fond memories of staying at the island’s iconic beach resort.”
