The nomination period for this year’s Guernsey Property and Construction Awards opens next Monday 4 June. Invitations are now sought for people to nominate individuals, teams and businesses that have excelled in their field of expertise.
The awards, in their fourth year, are comprised of eight categories covering multiple construction and property sectors with an overall winner selected in each island from the category finalists.
This year’s awards are organised by experienced event planners, Collaborate Communications. Julie Todd, Managing Director of Collaborate Communications said:
“Last year proved to be an outstanding success with a great night enjoyed by all that attended. This was testimony to a combination of a lot of hard work by our organising team, the valued input of our independent judging panel and of course the high quality entries, showcasing the skills and qualities of our Guernsey property and construction industry.
“The last twelve months have seen a small rise in activity in the industry, with a wide variety of quality projects completed and we are very keen that as many entries are submitted as possible to ensure we showcase the industry in the best possible way.
“For 2018 we have kept the award categories the same, giving eight lucky recipients the opportunity of being publicly acknowledged and rewarded. We are thankful to our three sponsors, Ogier, BDO and G4S, who are fully supportive of all we are aiming to achieve.
We are pleased to confirm that the awards will be held on Thursday 8November at Beau Sejour. We look forward to welcoming our guests to another entertaining evening celebrating the achievements of our industry. Good luck to all the entrants.”
