Orchid Communications has appointed Vicki Edwards and Steph Brown as PR Account Directors, based in the company’s new Bristol office. Two senior digital designers have also been recruited to strengthen the company’s growing digital portfolio of services.
Orchid is an independent and award-winning full service creative communications agency headquartered in Jersey. In March, the company moved from its Somerset office in Frome to a larger base in central Bristol. Both the move and the senior appointments mark a time of growth for the company, which aims to further increase its headcount over the next 12 months.
Founded in Jersey by Sam Watts, an experienced marketing communications professional, the company has grown from offering solely PR services to Channel Island clients into a full-service communication and brand agency. It delivers PR, communications, media relations, content creation, web development, SEO and PPC for SMEs and public and charitable organisations across a broad range of sectors in the Channel Islands and South West.
This year, Orchid celebrates its 18th birthday. The move to One Temple Quay in Bristol, near Temple Meads, is a strategic move for the business as it pursues its growth plans.
Vicki and Steph, both experienced PR and Communications officers, have been brought into the business to service the company’s growing roster of UK clients and to provide additional senior support for clients based in Jersey and Guernsey.

Orchid continues to represent a portfolio of clients in the Channel Islands, which is still the largest office with seven full time employees, and is currently recruiting more people in the Island.
