Channel Eye has joined forces with Royston Guest, leading Business Growth Coach and CEO/Founder of Pathways Global, in our column, ‘Ask the Business Coach’
Developing leadership qualities is a personal, inside journey and is undoubtedly one of the most powerful things you can do in your lifetime. Becoming a great leader who delivers with passion and commitment isn’t something you do because you have to, but because you want to. All of this plays a critical role in maximising the performance of your teams.
The big three takeaways!
- Authenticity
- Passion
- Teamwork
Episode timestamps
- [1.07] Be authentic in your identity. Be the real deal.
- [1.54] Love what you do and do what you love. When you’re passionate about what you do, you are authentic, and your passion will naturally flow through. If you’re not passionate about what you do, then working every day will be hard work. Life is split into thirds; a third sleeping, a third personal life and a third your professional life – make sure you are passionate about your professional life as this is a third of your entire life!
- [3.32] The strength of the team is the individual team members, and the strength of the individual team members is the team. Great leaders can galvanise a team, playing to individual strengths.
