IoD event

What leadership style does today’s business need?

The second event of the IoD’s Better Directors Build Better Businesses series will explore how outdated leadership styles can harm businesses in today’s complex world. The member-only interactive training session will be led by IoD Tutor, David Joel, and will compare and contrast different leadership styles, recast the definition of leadership and explore the thoughts of thought leaders on developing a high-performance organisation.

David Joel is a qualified physicist with 22 years in the aerospace and defence sector and 10 years in the services and facilities management sector in leadership, finance and business development roles. David qualified with a diploma in Company Direction at the IoD in 2001 and became a Chartered Director in 2003. In his course leader capacity with the IoD, David has worked with organisations such as the MoD, Office Depot, Mainetti, Cassidian, Commerzbank, Skanska, Travis Perkins, First Group and the NHS.

This is an IoD Guernsey member-only event and tickets cost £5. This series is kindly sponsored by Aspida. There are limited spaces for this event.
