BDO Group in Jersey has made two key senior appointments.
Marcus Hawgood has been appointed in the new role of ‘Director, Digital and Commercial’ and Alain Egre joins the Group Relationship Management function as a Director. BDO say that these appointments reflect BDO Group’s continued growth and its commitment to expand delivery of integrated and transformative business and professional services to Financial Services firms.
Marcus has over 30 years’ experience in the industry and 7 years independent consulting experience to financial services businesses with a focus on trust and corporate service providers. Prior to this he sat on the board of Ogier Fiduciary Services Jersey Limited.
Spanning financial services companies such as Barclays Wealth and Societe Generale, Alain has 20 years’ experience driving operating model design, system implementation, business integrations and commercial strategy. Alain also played a role in Sionic’s growth journey alongside leading the Jersey office and contributing to Europe’s leading and award-winning Wealth Management & Private Banking practice.
In his new role, Marcus will work closely with the Group Relationship Management and BDO Advisory teams. Marcus will be involved in senior relationship building with new and existing clients, business development and service design, as well as delivering digital and commercial advisory services.
Alain will take a lead role in enabling BDO’s solution design and mobilisation capability by developing and steering cross-practice client opportunities, forming the link between our client’s leadership team and our delivery practices; bringing them together to ensure a consistent, co-ordinated approach to meeting their needs.
