Ogier has been named ‘Offshore law firm of the year’ at last week’s ePrivateClient Excellence Awards (7th July) held in London.
Judges referred to the quality, complexity and value of the matters that Ogier’s trusts practitioners regularly work on, the firm’s tangible commitment to digital and service innovation, its significant focus on building an inclusive, people-centred culture, and how clients are put at the heart of service delivery.
Ogier’s trusts team has seen significant growth over the past 12 months, including the doubling in size of its Guernsey team.
This win is the latest milestone for Ogier after 12 months of record headcount and income growth, a merger with Dublin law firm Ogier Leman, and the expansion of Ogier’s jurisdictional footprint with new offices in Singapore and Beijing.
Global head of Private Wealth, Matt Guthrie, said: “We’re extremely pleased to receive this recognition from ePrivateClient. This has been a year of significant milestones for Ogier, from record-breaking growth in headcount and income, to being recognised as true market leaders by independent legal directories, and now receiving this excellent recognition.
“Embracing a culture of innovation and inclusion has been fundamental to this success and this achievement is very much testament to the work and talent of our people across the globe.”
