Property experts Savills have made two senior promotions in their Guernsey office.
Nick Paluch and Stuart Leslie have both been appointed directors in the residential sales team.
Stuart will oversee the day to day running and strategy in the Local Market, while Nick will perform the same role for the Open Market.
Head of residential sales at Savills Guernsey Keith Enevoldsen said the promotions were testament to the pair’s success and commitment – reflecting their efforts in driving growth.
“The strength of our business is reflected in the continued progression and development of our experienced staff and I would like to extend my congratulations to both Stuart and Nick whose hard work and dedication makes these promotions very well deserved,” he said.
“They consistently deliver exceptional results and provide sound advice to the benefit of clients and work colleagues alike, while their professional and experienced approach has greatly contributed to the wider success of the office.
“The changes will assist in continuing to increase sales in the Local and Open markets and create a revised management structure in preparation for expansion of the residential department.”
Savills moved its commercial and residential teams under one roof to a new 4,500 sq ft premises at Royal Terrace on Glategny Esplanade in the summer of last year.
Nick, born and educated in Guernsey at Elizabeth College and with over a decade’s experience of selling homes on the island, said: “Bringing the two Guernsey businesses together has allowed closer collaboration between our teams to the benefit of both our staff and our clients. History tells us that competition increases during better markets which, coupled with the fact that we’ve all had some pretty testing environments for the past year, makes this recognition particularly rewarding.”
Stuart, whose local market experience also spans more than a decade, continued: “Despite the challenges presented during the pandemic both of the island’s property markets continue to be busy. At the moment there is no sign of that slowing and we are expecting another strong year. As an office we have some very exciting plans for the next 12 months and I’m looking forward to being able to help drive that forward.”
