UBS Wealth Management in Jersey has announced that their Client Advisor, Stephen Coelho has achieved top marks.
Stephen has ranked first in the entire country for students taking the Chartered Institute of Investment and Securities (CISI), Private Client Investment Advice & Management (PCIAM) exam in 2021.
PCIAM enables practitioners to demonstrate a broad understanding of the principles of private client investment advice, within the context of the current regulatory environment and structure a suitable portfolio, selecting from a range of financial products, to meet client objectives.
Tom Hill, Group Country Head at UBS, Jersey confirmed: “We are incredibly proud of Stephen’s fantastic results in this PCIAM. Stephen joined us in 2017 and he has worked hard to get a firm understanding of the principles of investment advice. His commitment to learning and personal development is going to stand him in good stead for his future career in wealth management.”
Stephen commented: “I am really grateful to UBS for supporting me whilst I was studying for this exam. It was an amazing surprise to receive the email from the CISI to confirm that I had won an award and had achieved the highest marks in the UK. The time spent studying for this accreditation was well worth it, and I now look forward to implementing the knowledge I have acquired to better service my clients.”
PCIAM is achieved by completing a recommended 200 hours of study and sitting a 3-hour written exam.
